i used rectangles and gradients in adobe illustrator to make this phone. i added the numbers and letters on the buttons and on the screen of the phone by using the text tool. i created the panel by using different shapes and the path tool to align, delete and merge things. i used stars to make triangles by making the number of points only three instead of five. i used object>path>offset path to make the buttons look like they were sort of popping out of the phone. i used effects to round the ends of the rectangles. then i made the microphone on the bottom by using the ellipse tool and the rectangle tool.

i tested the shapes and tools to write my last name in the most creative way possible. i used the line tool to create my name, i also used the star,which i adjusted to three points to make inner triangles and i used a circle to make the "o" at the end of my last name.

to make this usb i used adobe illustrator. i used rectangles to create the the body of the usb, and also to make the head of the usb. i used gradients so that the colors of the rectangles would merge into one color. i later added a rounded rectangle to the middle of the usb and used the text tool to write "brianna's flash drive" and "64 gb"

what is quick Masking? why bother if I can just select with marquees or lasso tool?

we added a couple of things to the original picture to get this "glow" - what were the they? and what and at what layer did you take away to create the final effect

The smart filter allowed you to alter the effects in a different way. the difference between normal and smart filter is that the smart filter is quicker than the regular one.

Quick masking is a visual way of creating and editing selections. Quick masking is easier than selecting with marquees or the lasso tool and gives you the option to tint selected parts of the picture without affecting the whole image.

We added a Gaussian blur to the picture, along with a smart filter. we took out the parts of the picture that wasn't skin so that the "glow" would look as if it were only on the skin.

for this painting effect, i found a puerto rican flag on google search and i used a picture of myself. i used effects to give the flag a pasty look, as if it were painted onto my face. after doing so i put the flag over the picture but only on my face and adjusted the opacity so that you could see my face in the background.

i used a picture of ice cream bars and fruits to make this poster. first i cropped the ice cream out and placed the fruit in, i added an inner glow and an outer glow so that the rough edges wouldn't show. after that, i created a bigger canvas and used an orange and brow gradient and merged it with the picture of the fruit bars. then i added a clever saying that would catch the readers eye.

Assignment 12

i went onto google search and choose a pattern that i liked. after this, i looked for a white dress to put the pattern on and i liked this one. i selected parts of the dress only so that i could isolate it in order to put the pattern onto the dress. then, i dragged the pattern over the selected part of the dress and merged the pattern and the dress.

Assignment 11

to make this poster, first i used a rainbow gradient as a background. then, i took a piece of another project i did by cropping the part that i wanted and i later inserted it. i did this also to write "safe haven" because that is what my club is. finally i transformed the letters and numbers from "rm368" and i typed "thursdays 3:15" onto the picture.
